Community Bridges Receives Grant from the City of Takoma Park

Community Bridges Receives $5,000 grant from the City of Takoma Park as part of the Community Grants Program FY21

The grant award from the City of Takoma Park will support the development, delivery and the use of literary, performing, visual and culinary arts within the Community Bridges Girls Program. The grant will also allow Community Bridges to utilize community partners to expand current lesson plans through art and enhance our annual end of year showcase, Our True Colors. During the CB Girls Program, CB girls learn all aspects of the arts such as dance, spoken word, music, theater, sculpture, painting and multimedia.
