Community Bridges had the amazing opportunity to take 3 staff members and 10 CB girls on a Spring Break College Tour Road Trip. The road trip took place from April 15-18 with stops at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, Agnes Scott College and Spelman College. The experience was a first of many for our CB girls. For some girls, it was the first time they’ve left the state and stayed overnight in a hotel. Several juniors from the trip have already decided to apply next year to the schools they visited.
“I had a great time during the trip. I want to apply to Agnes Scott!,” says Amarah Branch, sophomore at Blake High School.
“Thank you so much for everything Ms. Sarah, Ms. Talia and Ms. Candace! I really appreciate this experience,” says Alanna Stewart, sophomore at Blake High School.
“Thank you very much for everything. I know you call us amazing, but you guys (staff) are really the amazing ones,” says Sabrina McCubbin, sophomore at Montgomery Blair High School
