Community Bridges is thrilled to announce the recipient of its 2017 Building Bridges Award, Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland’s 8th District. The award, which will be given at Community Bridges’ 20th Anniversary Celebration on November 8th, honors a community member dedicated to bridging the gap between diverse populations in Montgomery County.
As former Maryland State Senator for District 20 and current 8th, District Representative Congressman Raskin embodies the mission and vision of Community Bridges: connecting diverse individuals to create an inclusive, uplifted community where all voices are heard and change is possible.
